Sad news....

I won't be posting cards for a few days.  My husband's father passed away late last night.  Thanks for all the support we've already received.

I used Hezzy this time around - you don't have to use a PandS stamp, but we'd love it if you can!  Not sure if you can tell, but I used my clean copic to make "feathers" on her.  The chicken tracks on the dsp are also from the same set.

I Wanna Be a Beach Bum!

Even with the scorching temperatures this week, I could live at the beach.  A perfect day would be a slight breeze, my feet in the sand, a frozen drink in one hand and my Kindle in the other.  Thus the inspiration for my card today using the Clean and Simple challenge at Splitcoaststampers today to use a tag.

Double Duty

The Featured Stamper this week at Splitcoaststampers was truly inspirational.  She does lots of clean and simple designs, just what I need practice on!  I chose two of her cards - THIS one and THIS one and CASE'd the layout of each for my cards.

Today was a very busy day.  I got up early and made my card and then went to help a friend clean out/organize her stamping room.  She thinks I'm nuts because I had fun.  I knew this card was missing something, and after 2 consultations, I was told that you can color pearls!  Didn't know that!  So.......that's what I added.  The sketch is from The Sweet Stop and I got my inspiration from the IC today at Splitcoaststampers, using this picture.
