Black Magic Poinsettias

I recently learned how to do the "Black Magic" technique and absolutely love it!  This time, I embossed the image first, then used my pencils to color it in.  I used the sketch from Clean & Simple's blog, even though it's not very CAS.

Simple Christmas

This is the current sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  I thought it would make a great, easy Christmas card.  It also gave me the opportunity to play with another new Memory Box die that I recently got.

This week's sketch challenge over at The Sweetest Thing was a good one!   I had to play quite a big with my dsp before I got it right.  I even had to toss some *GASP*!  This new set, Swirly Trees, from Paper and Such is so much fun to play with.  I masked the center tree before I stamped the others.  I also got to play with a new die I purchased from Memory Box!

Color Challenge - Paper and Such style!

Friendship

The last day of sneak peeks for Paper and Such's October release!!  This set is three wonderful Friendship sentiments.  I've grown to love using just sentiments as my focal point.  They make a card so elegant and simple.  I paired this up with The Sweetest Thing's Sunday sketch from this past week.
