BLOG HOP TIME!

Today is the day for the very first Ildi Co. blog hop and release of their newest digi-stamp collection!
You should have come here from Jacquie’s blog. If you didn't, please start at Jenny’s blog, because you'll be picking up letters that spell out a phrase which will get you 10% off your whole order! I'll tell you my letter at the end. ;-) Here's my card.

Isn’t he just adorable! Makes me think of my old Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls I had when I was little. He looks just a little sad, so I thought that making a Miss You card was perfect. This card will go, along with many others, to our soldiers overseas so that they can send it back to a family member or friend.
So I bet you are looking for my letter, right? Well my letter for you is O and now you can hop over to Stuffie’s Stamps to see what eye candy she has for you.Remember to stop by the Ildi Co. site when you’re all done and check out the new line! Thanks for stopping by my blog today and have a great weekend!

New images from Sunshine Stampers!

This sassy little fish is one of 3 new images called "Ocean Dwellers" from Sunshine Stamps. I've had the honor to be asked to participate on their design team :) When I saw the expression on her face, I knew the perfect sentiment stamp. For the embossed portions, I inked up my CB folder then ran the paper thru. This gives the paper color without too much color.

Recipe:

Stamp - Ocean Dweller from Sunshine Stamps, sentiment - Fictionally Inspired by Artful Inkables
Cardstock: GP white, Bliss Blue
Accessories: Tiny Bubbles CB folder, Labels 2, Medium oval punch, baubbles, copics
Ink: Momento Blue Sky, black

Cuddles Thursday!

Here's another adorable Cuddles image. I used the technique spotlight from StampTV this week - inking Cuttlebug folders. I also used a blade to cut out the top of the kite and slid my Labels 2 nestie around it so that it cut and embossed with the kite still attached. I think it gives the card more dimension.

For a limited time at Ildi Co. you can purchase all 20 images for only $20!! That's a savings of $6.50! Please make sure you contact Ildiko directly at super_ildi@yahoo.com or in the Etsy store (click the badge to the right) there is a "contact Ildico3" button you can select.

I made this card a few days ago when I had a friend and her DD over to "play" with my stash. I used the Swiss Dots folder on only 1/2 of the card and layered over it with Baja Breeze DP. The stamp is from High Hopes. The sentiment is from Gina K's Tag Lines set - LOVE that set, so many versatile phrases.
