Double Duty

You all know that I love combining challenges and that's exactly what I did for today's card.  I used The Color Throwdown's pallet and the inspiration from Paper Pretties (using a sentiment as a focal).  Here's what I came up with!

Stamps - Just Sayin' (PAS)

Gettin sketchy

My mojo was up early today, so I thought I'd get a jump on the sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers today. I wanted to keep this card simple, so I went with a black and white pallet with just a pop of color.

The right sketch at the right time!

The other day I received a baby shower invite for my DH's niece.  Since then, I've been stressing about how I wanted to make the card.  It's just a baby card - how hard can it be, right???  WRONG!  Back in the fall, she announced that she's having QUADS!!!!!!  Now you see my dilemma.  Can you imagine having 4 babies!  God love her and her DH, they are thrilled.  3 sweet girls and 1 precious boy are coming in the next few months.  They have a 3 year old girl who will be a wonderful big sister.

Ok, onto my quandary - how to make this card for quads.  I knew what image I wanted to use, but no idea how to go about making a great layout - until this am when I checked my Facebook home page and there it was!!!!  Card Positioning Sketches had EXACTLY what I wanted!  THANK YOU!!!!!

And here is my finished result....... *drum roll please*

Sweet N Sassy challenge

Wow - it's been almost a whole week of steady posting!  Finally getting back into the groove of things!  I love checking out what Korin and Sweet N Sassy have for their digi challenges and today's was a fun one.  We had to use a number on our cards (I printed out my own sentiment), 2 different types of embossing (dsp is done in Swiss Dots) and 3 colors.  I'm quite pleased with how this card turned out.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
